HOW I PRODUCED

a whisper, a walk, and a voice memo

I didn’t mean to write this song.

I was walking. Thinking. Spiraling maybe. And I recorded a voice memo just to get the feelings out.

That audio is still in the final version. I built everything around it.

In this video, I’m sharing how ‘i’ll ask the moon’ came to life almost by accident—and why I chose to keep the production so sparse and delicate. This one needed to feel intimate, like a late-night journal entry you’d never expect anyone else to read.

I talk through the textures, the choices, and the reasons why I didn’t touch too much of it after that first instinct.
